Muối Ớt Xanh Sauce

Ingredients for servings

  • 20 g green Thai chili peppers, de-seeded

  • 70 g green bell peppers, de-seeded

  • 75 g lime juice

  • 70 g granulated white sugar

  • 20 g salt

  • 0.5 tsp MSG monosodium glutamate, optional

  • 3 lime leaves see note

  • 35 g sweetened condensed milk


  • Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

  • Serve with seafood, on BBQ, or with spring/egg rolls.


Optional, for a thicker sauce or to keep longer, cook sauce in a small sauce pan until thickened.

The lime leaves are mainly for aroma, similar to lemon zest. It won’t affect taste at all.
